With Christmas Eve falling on a Sunday in 2023, this means that on the morning of Sunday, December 24th, Our Lady of Lourdes will be celebrating the normal Sunday Masses (8:30am & 10:30am) for the Fourth Sunday of Advent.
Later that same day, we will have celebrate our first Christmas Eve Mass at 3:00pm.
Due to the importance of both liturgical dates, the faithful are obligated to attend one Mass for the Fourth Sunday of Advent, and one Mass for Christmas Eve—a single Mass does not fulfill the obligaton for both.
*The 3:00pm Christmas Eve Mass and the 10:30am Christmas Day Mass will be livestreamed to our Lourdes Live page, as well as on our YouTube Channel.
The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God (January 1) falls on Monday in 2024, and therefore is not a Holy Day of Obligation. In accordance with our normal Mass schedule, there will be no public Mass offered at Our Lady of Lourdes on Monday, January 1, 2024.
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception falls on Friday, December 8th in 2023 and is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times will be 12:05pm and 5:00pm.
*The 5:00pm Mass will be livestreamed.
