All lay liturgical ministers, including lectors, altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers, and greeters, are invited to our annual Liturgical Ministry Morning. The first half of our time together will review procedures and be a chance to ask questions about these roles and our scheduling tool, Ministry Scheduler Pro. During the second half of the program, training will be available for new lay ministers.

Laura Harder, a compassion fatigue therapist who has done work previously with the Archdiocese around the effects of trauma, will be presenting on this topic. Many do not have an understanding of the effects of trauma and abuse on a person and they say, “Why can’t they just get over it and move on?”...

Mass at 5 pm will be followed by dinner and a talk in Hofstede Hall.

Join us, beginning at 8 am, for our French Meat Pie bake! The French Canadian Settlers who founded our parish brought their tourtiere recipe with them, and we have been making it at Lourdes for over 100 years! All ages are welcome; come when you can. Caramel rolls and lunch will be served. Pies will be available for sale as well.
