Pastoral Care at Lourdes

The Pastoral Care team supports the Funeral Ministry at Lourdes, serving as greeters at funerals, and assisting with hospitality for those meals or gatherings.

This team is exploring pastoral care resources, with information such as the Care Notes that are available in Hofstede Hall, and online resources for a variety of topics including grief, depression, addiction, divorce, and more.

Alcoholics Anonymous

For over 30 years, Our Lady of Lourdes has hosted and supported local meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous at the parish on Thursday evenings. More about this global organizations and their work is available on their website.

Catholic Eldercare

Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering the finest in senior services such as assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care, adult day services and a proud foundation in fellowship and pastoral care.
Catholic Eldercare makes available an orientation and training for volunteers interested in pastoral care, including bringing the Eucharist to guests in the Transitional Care Unit.

Rachel’s Vineyard

Rachel's Vineyard provides opportunities for healing for men and women who have been impacted by abortion. Members of the Lourdes Healing Ministry team are active in the local organization, serving on their board and help raise awareness of the organization and their mission.
