Holy Thursday (March 28, 2024)

• Mass of the Lord's Supper*  - 7:00pm
  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 9:00pm

Good Friday (March 29, 2024)

• Good Friday is a day of fasting and abstinence from meat
• Stations of the Cross  - 12:00pm
• The Passion of the Lord* - 3:00pm
• Tenebrae  - 7:00pm
  • What is Tenebrae?  Tenebrae is a traditional liturgy of the Church where the faithful meditate upon the passion, death, and burial of the Lord. The word Tenebrae means “darkness”, because these services were celebrated after sunset and lit by candlelight. As psalms and scriptures are sung or said, candles on a candelabrum are gradually extinguished until only one remains, symbolizing Christ. That final candle is taken
    out of sight, and in the darkness there arises a great sound, the strepitus, that represents the confusion and chaos of the death of Christ. Then the candle is returned, and all depart in silence. While this is a beautiful devotional liturgy in our Catholic tradition, its intent is to complement--not replace--the Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord held earlier in the day.
     

Holy Saturday (March 30, 2024)

• The Easter Vigil in the Holy Night - 8:00 pm

Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord (March 31, 2024)

• Mass at 8:30am
• Mass at 10:30am*

On Good Friday, March 29, Stations of the Cross will be at 12:00pm noon on Good Friday)

Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence from meat.

• Mass at 12:05pm
• Mass at 5:00pm

The Sacrament of Anointing will be offered at the 4:30pm Mass on Saturday, March 2. We invite those who are anticipating surgery, or who have a chronic illness, or who have experienced a decline in health to come and celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
